The studio · The origin

E·LAB was not born from an idea. It was born from a way of seeing.

Twenty years in international fashion. Strategic buying, product development, sustainability and leadership of multidisciplinary teams.

Mila Sánchez reads a brand as a whole. Faced with a sales problem, she asks which layer contradicts which. Faced with a failing supplier, by what criteria it was chosen.

That reading opens hypotheses. They are verified against product, costs, sales history and commercial behaviour before becoming a diagnosis.

The first laboratory

The textile heritage was the first laboratory. Third generation of an industry family: there she learnt the feel of fabric, the logic of a collection, and work done well as the standard.

Twenty years of design, production, buying and sales took that reading to the whole business. In every company, the same pattern.

The industry taught the product. The eye taught the system.

The pattern no one named.

Brands born from a clear idea that stopped connecting it to their decisions. The idea remained in the discourse and no longer reached the product, the price or the channel. Each decision had its own logic; none had the same origin.

01

First phase

Decisions begin to answer to urgency. Identity remains in the discourse but stops filtering product, price and channel.

02

Second phase

The layers fall out of alignment: recurring discounts, surplus, campaigns that get no response. Treating them separately leaves the cause intact.

03

Third phase

The distance between what the brand declares and what it offers reaches the customer. The customer stops buying.

Effort out of proportion to the result is a signal to review the system. E·LAB identifies which decisions produce it and establishes where to intervene first.

We detect what does not fit, verify the cause and build a system the team can lead.
